90 MINUTE IN-HOME INTERIOR DESIGN SESSION 

This service is a type of design consultation created to help anyone get past those design hang-ups that seem so small, but take up such a large amount of energy trying to figure out. Sometimes the key is partnering with a design professional to help guide you through common challenges on your way to a better home. Things like picking paint colors for your main floor, choosing flooring that’s right for the space, or finding the happy middle-ground between different ideas are just a few of the things I can do with our time during this 90-minute in-home design session. This service is different from a typical basic consultation…it is a highly productive design session aimed at helping you find direction and make decisions. Here’s how it works:

Before the House Call

It all starts with a quick phone call. To make the most of our session, I like to talk to you beforehand to gather some basic information and determine how you want to use your consulting time. I charge a one-time fee for this type of consultation and upon receipt, I schedule a time for me to come out to your home and I send you a questionnaire.

During Our Session

On the day of the consultation, I will meet you at your home and get down to business! I will learn about you and I will give you expert, realistic design advice that is specific to your space. How we spend this time is up to you, so here are some things I have done in the past:

– Choose all the paint colors for an entire house

– Determine furniture layouts for regularly shaped rooms

– Suggest curtain styles that would fit

– Provide guidance on additional lighting required

– Suggest furniture styles that would fit with the architecture of the space

– Measure rooms for creating floor plans

– Select surface finishes for the house

During this design session, I take thorough notes and these, along with any links to things discussed, are sent to you within 48 hours after our meeting.

Beyond the Consultation

Doesn’t progress feel great? My goal, by the end of our session, is for you to have clarity on what your next steps should be. 

My notes and expertise will help you complete your space to your liking, and you will gain valuable insight that you can, hopefully, apply to other areas of your home.
